Contiweb acquires WS Print to expand its integrated solutions offering
31 March 2022 – Contiweb, a specialist manufacturer of drying and web-handling equipment and provider of integrated technical solutions for web offset printing, packaging and digital printing announced today that it has acquired WS Print GmbH & Co. KG. WS Print is the European market leader in manufacturing and distributing silicone emulsion, silicone oil and fountain solutions for the printing industry. With the acquisition of WS Print, Contiweb further broadens its product offering and continues the expansion of its integrated solutions offering. The companies will be even better placed to support their customers with reducing cost-to-print, lowering energy consumption, minimizing waste, increasing uptime and enhancing performance.
Founded in 1989, WS Print is an owner-managed family enterprise based in Schnaittach, Germany. The company has a long and proud history, characterized by product innovation, process automation, high quality products and strong personal relations with its customers.

Managing Director Tobias Wälter defines the clientele of the printing company founded by his father in Dortmund as a colourful mix of industries. Customers from shipping, the insurance industry or branded goods manufacturers are the clients for the Color-Offset-Wälter printing and media centre. We are always striving for a cooperation based on partnership.
Two locations were merged in 2004 at Oberste-Wilms-Straße 18, specializing fully integrated in the 3B format for offset printing with up to five colours plus coating. Smaller formats as well as digital printing are handled in mutual order exchange with partner companies. This network works great.

Printing technician Steffen Lehn has been a member of the Seltersdruck management team since 2005. Lehn's parents Gabriele and Alfons Lehn founded the company in 1981 in the Taunus town of Selters and over the years have continuously developed it to its current size through several extensions.
The print shop now has 28 permanent employees, is fully equipped and has set the course for further growth with the current construction of an additional 1,200 m2 production hall.
